Delight Cherry Plum is a fantastic interspecific hybrid between Japanese plum and cherry, creating a unique fruit that has qualities of both parents. Fruit is incredibly flavorful, tangy, clingstone and larger than a cherry but smaller than a plum. Crops are heavy even under adverse conditions. Requires Sprite Cherry Plum for cross-pollination. Blooms late March. Bears fruit 2-3 years after planting. Fruit ripens July-August.
