Description: Lime basil (Ocimum basilicum) is a sweet, fragrant herb with citrus notes that can be used in cooking and cocktails. It has small, teardrop-shaped leaves that are smaller than sweet basil. The leaves edges are slightly scalloped. It has fuzzy stems and undersides. there are tiny white flowers in the summer and early fall.

Growing conditions: Lime basil grows best in warm, sunny, and well-drained soil. It's a heat loving-herb that's sensitive to frost. Plant in location that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. Water regularly, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
