Description: Marathon broccoli is a versatile, cold-tolerant hybrid variety that produces large heads of broccoli. Heads are blue-green in color, with round screens and fine grain. It is low-lying, about 2 feet tall. It's a popular choice for gardeners and small-scale farmers. 

Growing conditions: Marathon broccoli grows best in fertile, well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0-7.5, and at least six hours of sun. Does not generally do well in hot weather. It prefers a consistent supply of moisture throughout the growing season. Space plants 18-24 inches apart and rows 2-3 feet apart.
