Sweet Lavender

Description: Sweet lavender (Lavandula heterophylla) is one of the largest grown: it will top out at close to 4 feet with its blooms which can be up to 2 feet long and 3-4 feet wide. It is from France and Italy and has much greener leaf than most other lavenders. It attracts bees and butterflies.

Growing Conditions: Prefers full sun. Can tolerate heat and humidity. Grows best in well-drained soil and is drought resistant.
