Creeping Mother Thyme
Organic, Non-GMO

Description: Creeping thyme (Thymus spp.) is a semi-woody ground cover with star-or bell-shaped flowers that's drought tolerant and attract bees and butterflies.  Flowers are usually pink or purple, but can be red or white.  The leaves are elliptical, slightly hairy, and can be dark green, olive green, or gray-green.

Growing conditions: Prefers full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. Grows best in well-drained, moderately fertile, alkaline to neutral soil. Drought tolerant once established, but newly planted thyme may need more frequent watering. Avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.

Maintenance: Relatively low maintenance, resilient to diseases and pests. Can be cut back as needed to maintain appearance. May need regular mowing to minimize flowers. Potential for woody growth if not mowed or pruned.
