Golden Sage

Description: Golden sage is a perennial herb with yellow-variegated leaves and a strong aroma. In the summer, it may produce pale purple-blue flowers. It's a cultivar of common sage, Salvia officinalis, and is used in cooking and for ornamental purposes.

Growing conditions: Golden sage prefers a sunny position sheltered from the wind. It prefers light, well drained soil and has good drought tolerance. Avoid planting in close proximity to Rosemary. Only minimal pruning is required and mostly to retain a desirable shape. Pruning should be done in early spring.
