Goodwin Creek Lavender
Organic, Non-GMO
Description: Goodwin Creek lavender (Lavandula ginginsii) is a dense mound of finely toothed, silver-gray foliage and beautiful, long, slender, dark purple flower spikes. Very tolerant of heat, sun, and periodic drought, ideal for sunny perennial borders or rock gardens, and raised beds or containers.
Goodwin Creek Lavender typically blooms from late spring to early summer. Harvest the flowers when they are fully open but before they begin to fade. The flowers can be used fresh or dried for culinary purposes, crafting, or for their aromatic properties in potpourri sachets, and essential oil extraction.
Growing conditions: Goodwin Creek Lavender grows best in full sun, well-drained soil, and warm climates. It can be grown indoors or outside, but needs protection from frost. Hardy in USDA zones 6-10.
