French Lavender

Description: French lavender (Lavandula dentata) is a flowering shrub with aromatic, gray-green leaves and purple flowers. It grows to 24 inches tall. It attract pollinators like bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and lady bugs. It's native to the Mediterranean basin and is also known as fringed lavender. 

Growing conditions: French lavender prefers full sun, well-drained, alkaline soil. It tolerates a range of conditions but may be short-lived. It requires some shelter in frost-prone areas and needs low water.
