Scientific Name:  Cupressus arizonica

Type: Tree

Full Grown Size: Height of 40–50′ and a spread of around 25-30′ at maturity.

Lifespan: Between 50 and 150 years.

Soil condition: Acidic, alkaline, loamy, sandy and well-drained soils. It has normal moisture requirements but displays good drought tolerance.

Light Requirements: Full Sun

Water requirements: Minimum of 10 to 12 inches of water annually.

USDA Zones: Hardiness Zones 7 through 9.

Works great for a living Christmas tree.   

Arizona Cypress is a fast growing tree reaching 40+ feet in height and spreading to 20-30 feet. The Arizona Cypress tree is evergreen, pyramid shaped, which makes a great privacy screen, windbreak or row planting.

It can also be used as a single specimen tree. The Arizona Cypress has a hint of blue-green and silver foliage. Arizona Cypress grows well with little water, prefers hot, dry conditions.
